Promo: Will Gabrielle stop Todd and Blair’s wedding?  There’s more to the story.

Segment 1

Todd: Gabrielle, I know you are a little dense but the fourth time Blair and I tried to get married I messed it up.  The last time we tried to get married she messed it up.  If you mess up this wedding this time you are going to be in a whole lot of pain.  Gabs: Are you finished because if you are, do you think Blair will want to marry you when she finds you set her up?

Jen and Cris makeup.

Max offers to give Hank his own personal input on what happened to Asa.  Hank gives him and pad and pen and tells him to jot down all of his ideas.  He goes into Bo’s office where Bo is still working with the audiotape.  Bo asks Hank to listen to the tape for something suspicious and says they need to get an audio guy into to listen to it or they may be in big trouble.

Alex fantasizes about what will happen when Captain Stuart returns and finds her.

Gabs reminds Todd it was his idea to get Blair’s signature and now he is trying to set up she and Max.  Todd tells Gabs she is nuts and needs to buzz off.  Cassie and Vicki talk about whether Blair may be pushing it.  “You know she still hasn’t gotten over losing her baby.”  Blair tracks the sound of the baby crying and finds the room.  She has her hand on the doorknob.

Segment 2

Gabs: You killed Asa.  Todd: Why would I do that?  Gabs: Because you hated Asa and you found a way to get back at Blair then you took up with your gun toting girlfriend again and now you are trying to pin it on me and Max.  They threaten each other with what they know about the other.

 Starr tells Andrew that Todd is outside with a weird lady that talks funny.  Andrew and Cassie talk for a minute.  You look good…

Just as Blair is about to open the door, Addie runs down the hall and hugs her.  She tells her how happy she is.  Addie wants to know if Blair is all right.  Blair says she is not sure she thought she heard a baby crying.  Addie says it was probably here: I’ve been crying with joy! 

Gabs and Todd continue and agree that they are at a stalemate.  We can’t get each other without getting ourselves.  Vickie opens the door just in time to hear the last comment.  She wants to know what Todd meant.

Segment 3

Vickie says it was an interesting conversation she walked in on.  What is all this talk about getting each other? Todd says they were talking about GETTING each other wedding gifts.  Vickie says my, my Gabrielle you don’t waste any time.  How long has Asa been dead? Todd tells Vickie he will take care of Gabs.  He tells Gabs he did not kill Asa. For one thing he was in Mexico losing a child.  Gabs: Blair lost the child.  Todd: I was the father. Todd says if Gabs tries to ruin his wedding he will tell Max everything he knows about her.

Max is lurking around the squad room and sees the warrant being typed.  Bo notes that the background noise at every point on the tape is different.  He and Hank agree to get the tape analyzed before they issue the arrest warrants.

Asa is still insisting on getting rid of his next door neighbor.  Asa has left his sunglasses at the bar.  Nigel refuses to go back to the bar and deal with the Medusa woman they met.  Asa goes to get them. Nigel opens the door and sees a woman in the bed.  Alex sits up and she and Nigel start screaming in unison.

Everyone is concerned about where Blair is.  Todd says he will go up and find her.  Just as Todd starts up, Blair comes down.  Todd: Where have you been?  Blair: I thought I heard a baby crying.  I tried to follow the sound.  I’m sorry Todd, we can’t get married.

Cris tells Jen why he broke up with her.

Segment 4

Alex demands to know what Nigel is doing here.  He says he is on a holiday.  Alex says Please your idea of a holiday is standing in the sun when you drink your prune juice.  Alex questions whether he is with Captain Stuart.  Nigel says not with, I work for him.  Nigel tells Alex that Captain Stuart is married.  Then says his looks are repellent.  That doesn’t stop Alex.  Nigel then says that Captain Stuart is gay as a way to get Alex to back off.  Alex doesn’t lose a step. I’ve changed others.  Nigel finally says Captain Stuart is bankrupt.  That does it.  Nigel learns Alex is in the suite next door and agrees to go with her to spread Asa’s ashes.  He is freaking. Once Alex leaves he calls the bar and tries to reach Asa but he is gone.

Gabs and Max meet.  Gabs tells Max she was wrong about Todd.  He was not behind the murder.  She lists her reasons why—he was not in the country, he didn’t care about Asa… Bo rushes the test on the tape.

Jen talks about what a meany Cris was to her.

Todd: You saw her? Blair: Yes. I was at the door when mother ran down the hall.  Todd: So you didn’t go in the room?  Blair: How can I marry you if I’m still not over losing the baby? Todd: You trust me, Blair. That’s how. You trusted me earlier at the airport.  Trust me now.  Blair walks into the living room.  Todd yells, Let’s get this wedding started.

The wedding starts.  Andrew is reading his opening statement.  Todd breaks in and says you say what you have to say and I promise you that this time when it is our turn we will say our vows.

Segment 5

Andrew starts the ceremony.  “Dearly beloved….Todd and Blair if either of you know why… Todd: Is this going to go on much longer?  We’ll heard these words a thousand times before and they don’t really mean anything to me.  Andrew: If you want to speak from the heart.  Todd: I’ve had a lot of things on my mind.  Blair do you remember when we first met? Blair: At Rodi’s Todd: I remember Rodi’s but it was at the park.  FLASHBACK with Simply Love playing.

Todd: When I met you I thought you would be some one I could be around and after everything we’ve been through I don’t want to just be around you I want to give myself to you—my mind, my heart if that’s what you want.  Blair: We’ve been through so much together. I’ve shared the hightest highs and the lowest lows. I have never been as happy with anyone as I am with you.

Todd: Whenever you are around all the noise and craziness in my head is fixed.  Blair, I know I will mess up again, I hope that you can forgive me and I hope that you can remember that I love you.  And I’ll try not to hurt you.  Starr: You won’t. I won’t let you.

Blair: You surprise me.  You always have.  Like today you surprised me and I was a little scared.  Sometimes I do things out of fear and that drives you crazy and we go down hill from there.  That’s why I’m glad Andrew is here because we do need God.  We have something so special.  It is a gift.

Andrew says he must say a few tradition words.  The standard vows. They both wait for the other to say I will.  Todd: Do you? Blair: Do you?

Segment 6

Al waits for Jen.  Antonio tells him to take a break but he refuses.  Jen and Cris continue to talk.

Max tells Gabs they are in trouble.  They leave the police station.  Hank and Bo wait to get the test results.  Bo says if his hunch is correct it is about more than Max and Gabs.

Asa returns to his room looking for Nigel. 

Everyone is waiting breathlessly.  Finally, Todd and Blair say, “I do” in unison.  They complete the vows and Andrew pronounces these husband and wife.  There it’s done.   Todd you may kiss the bride.  They do! It is beautiful and freeze framed.
